We collect personal identifiers (phone numbers and email addresses) at the point of capture for two primary purposes:

• Digital Delivery: To transmit the requested media via SMS or Email.

• Marketing: To send future promotional materials and updates regarding our services.

2. Data Retention & Third-Party Disclosure

• No-Storage Media Policy: While we collect contact data for marketing, we do not host photos on long-term third-party galleries (e.g., SmugMug).

• Third-Party Logistics: Contact data is transmitted via third-party telecommunication carriers. Germanii Journey, LLC and G&U Studios are not responsible for the data retention or privacy practices of these independent carriers.
• Non-Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or lease our customer or guest lists to third parties.

3. Illinois Biometric (BIPA) Compliance

In accordance with the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act:

• AI Processing: Our software uses AI to apply digital filters to faces in real-time.

• Zero-Storage of Biometrics: We do not utilize facial recognition to identify individuals. Facial geometry is processed in volatile memory only for the duration of the filter application and is permanently destroyed immediately following the session.

4. Accessibility & ADA

• Notice of Non-Accessibility: Our current equipment configuration is not wheelchair accessible. Users with mobility devices may require assistance, and a standard experience is not guaranteed.

5. Limitation of Liability

• Technical Disclaimer: G&U Studios provides the website and technical integration “as-is.” G&U Studios is not a data controller and is not liable for:
  • Failed SMS or Email deliveries.
  • Data breaches occurring on third-party telecommunication networks.
  • Errors in the AI filter processing or QR code generation.
